Or perhaps, "Equality was *suddenly* important to Curtis. But what else is going on here? Aside from lack of pain receptors. Seriously, after the first toe or finger - possibly the second - that would be the end of it for most people. Most people with a giant pair of digit-cutting scissors. Now that I've written all that, I think it's a very convincing Halloween costume. You can tell Gertrude she can come out now. The jig is up!
My goodness! Splatter and gore galore. Perhaps this Curtis cannot count. As far as fingers and toes are concerned...there WAS equality. Oh boy!!!!!!!!! I suddenly see what's happening: Curtis is cutting his toes and fingers (he probably is a blind man without pain receptors who wanted to cut his nails) and in this stage of the proces he realises that he can not cut his right hand. That's far too difficult with a (topless) left hand. Now he's screaming his heart out, because he yearns for equality. Wow! For the first time I feel a sort of click with the pen mover humor, with the Rod way of thinking. Wow, I have to think about that.
Good ideas presented here Hedwig!! The hand confusion of how to cut the other evenly was on my mind!...But I sort of saw him laughing instead of screaming...but you know...I don't know either!
Since I'm left-handed this is difficult to look at. But then again, that's one way to reduce the size of ones feet, and be able to wear those perfect looking shoes that are always on display, instead of the gunboats I have to buy.
Bwahaha!!! Way to make this week's prompt your own, Rod!!!! Love his briefs!!!! By the way - we did your commic challenge from a few weeks back. Just need to find time to scan & email them to you!

ReplyDeleteJust pretend you are cutting your nails in the mirror Ted and all will become clear! Stick to gunboats its easier than looking neat!
