Oh boy. Gerard really looks hungry. He is ready and there is no food in sight! What's going to happen? It is exciting that you leave out some details and now my imagination is going wild!!!
Pobre Gerard, yo creo que él necesita más de una hora para comer!!!!
Poor Gerard, you always make him suffer, his life is a torment in a box!!!!!! do you not use the poor Gerard, to put in his humble personality, your baser Instincts? I make an appeal, taking the voice of millions people,
Rod: we pray, enlarges Gerard's box, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could you put a window so he knows if it rains, or shine, or snow?
Gerard estar esperando un hora hasta comer...si necesita más de un hora! Gerard likes his box to be close..it gives him comfort-He doesn't need a window..the box is transparent.
You know that Steve Lawrence song, "A Room without windows"? Roberto's comment made me think of it. Here's a few lines:
A room without windows, a room without doors A room where no guy but I can spy the charms that are yours Like being marooned on a island far from civilized shores You and me in a room without windows, a room without doors
No bells will be ringing, no telephone calls In our little well-secluded cell of ceiling and walls While dozens of males sit 'n' chew their nails and hate me because I am yours in a room without windows, a room without doors
A room without keyholes, a room with no view We'd like to reside there, hide there for an era or two Completely wrapped up in each other while the whole world ignores You and me in a room without windows, a room without doors
Sorry to put me in your conversation, I say: Oh, poor lovers, will soon die because they end up all the oxygen in the room. (The author of this song, was very jealous?)
Never apologise for entering your opinion here!!!! Using oxygen up is definitely a possibility....I think he may be jealous...or protective? I wonder what Ted says?
When I hear that song I always think of some creepy psycho with a captured woman in a secluded shed somewhere. When it was written it was about two people in love, that's all, but the way media rams all the bad news down our throats all day the song takes on a very dark new meaning.
I know what you mean Ted...I think I'll have to listen to that song before I draw in future...it certainly gives of a paradoxical feeling. BTW I have heard "Room without windows" many times before..I probably thought it was Sinatra.
Aww Gerard, really? Drooling? Well ok. Who am I to tell a fellow that drooling is unseemly? After seeing the drawing and reading "felt the urge to hurry" I got the impression Gerard was about to take matters (of lunch) into his own hands. I fear for the first small creature to cross his path!
You've made me think of people I have seen and then spent time wondering whether they have a mouthful or not...curiosity makes one stop and stare...will they swallow or chew...or just carry on with life looking like they've got a gob full?
Hmmm, that explains Gerard's rotundness (or is that a word?) But yet, agree with above, wouldn't want to get between Gerard and his food, he looks scary!
You made me google it Sasa....Rotundness ; the property possessed by a line or surface that is curved and not angular...you are right... this could be Gerard's problem...or of course lack of exercise stuck in a box.
Makes me think of rats in training, waiting for one end of their little cubicle to be lifted so they can run the maze behind it and get their food reward. Wonder what maze your Gerard will be running. Seems all set for it.
No I'm not. If you are referring to the gun then I can shed some light...in fact its quite boring really. I thought I had better change my header as I hadn't for a while and looked through some of the drawings I had already used on the blog and started to play with them on Photoshop. I was heading in the direction of a coat of arms, a type of tattoo flash emblem and had that same gun pointing in at either side towards the angel winged Gerard....and last minute I pulled one of the guns moved Gerard from the centre and went for asymmetry instead! I might be dangerously boring...but not dangerous!!!!! (If you comment Yes, I may have to shoot you.) :)
