Esto es serio, hombre. muchas veces ocurre entre un hombre y una mujer, que ellos se dicen adiós, pero no se animan a separarse.!!!!! you show us the funny side, but this is serious
Haha! These are great busts. I wonder, since they can't exactly go anywhere, if they are stuck having this conversation forever. Maybe sometimes they make up. :D
I think these two are a metaphor for relationships in general...When someone walks out or slams the door...they don't usually intend to go far...(sometimes they do.)
So this is the classic couple, always threatening divorce when they get upset. Poor neighbors... (The Socrates bust on the upper self must be very tired with them?)
I'm glad it inspired that funny dialogue Ted, thanks! I love Terry Gilliam and he was one of my childhood heroes..I still have his book "Animations of Mortality" (1978) that I received one Christmas as my parents knew how much I was obsessed.

DeleteThe final & dramatic door-slamming might be a little tough here....

Its a delicate situation here...one slammed door could lead to a broken heart.
DeleteWell.. are YOU leaving or am I ?

Well then... l'M leaving! No kidding this time.... I'm out of here....
Really, funny cartoon Rod. It inspired this dialog in my head. It would make a great Terry Gilliam style short.
