This weeks theme for IF is 'Launch'. Adrian knew that his Space book launch was going to be different from the usual boring signing. Interested to know which you preferred.
This is an interesting take on the word. I like the top one but his face in the second one is funny because it appears gravity is effecting it.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one, as the figure has more expression due to the neck - or lack of -
ReplyDeleteI left you an explanation of monoprinting on my blog.
I like the first two the most, don't know which I prefer, they borh have great expressions :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the middle one. Great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ted, Anna, Nelleke & Sasa... I really appreciate the time you have taken to look at my work and comment!
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 has the most to say personality wise. I like the body posture, it interplays nicely with the expression.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with Adrian Monksbrother and suspect he's invented, with his name borrowed from the Monk series?
hmmmm....
Hello Rod, thanks for the comment about my illustration earlier. I like your work too. Good stuff dude : )
ReplyDelete@ Richard.. Yes invented..but not borrowed. I started by making notes on earlier drawings and called this guy Adrian..then for some reason (probably hairstyle) he reminded me of a monk..but not quite..hence Monksbrother...Never heard of the Monk series until you mentioned it..coincidence with Adrian Monk!
