    How come I never heard this term--"selfie"--before, and now suddenly (like just since this weekend) I see it everywhere? This is fine as a self-portrait, though we won't ask why you think of yourself as a welded-together superhero. Does that mean you (or it--the powers) are hollow. But there's so much optimism in it--yeah--go fight evil in the world!!! I can agree with that.

      Yeah, it's strange how trends spread like wild-fire. I saw on the news that the term goes all the way back to 2003 I believe, and was coined by an Australian. Never heard of it before, either. Next year it will be uncool to say, I suppose, much like twirking.
