100th Post

Thanks to all those who have followed or visited this blog and to all those comments...(you are funny guys!)
The truth is...this is my 100th post (that hasn't been deleted...I have deleted a few posts in the past!)..I must admit, in reflection, looking at the above montage...it doesn't look like much...but this IS just the first hundred and some of those above posts actually contained more than one fantastic artwork!!!. I'm not really one for commenting or celebrating landmark numbers...well I wasn't until now...But this is unpaid work...and I actually enjoyed it!!!!! Blah blah blah blah...

  5. The 100th post! That's what the old fence mender said after a hard days work.

Very nice collection of freebies there. Very impressive. Put out a coffee can next time so we can throw in tips.

But seriously, it's great to have you here Rod, you are an artist I look forward to sharing ideas and art with. Keep 'em coming. It's obviously not about the money or we wouldn't do this at all.

But now, all seriousness aside, the truth is you didn't have a new idea so you just posted the first 100 as some sort of anniversary... right? RIGHT? heh heh hhheeeeeeeeeee.

    But again seriously... I kid.

  6. I don't know--I think it looks VERY COOL! And congratulations. This is significant. And they're all so great, and so funny.

I also really appreciate your comments on my blog. I've never actually heard any rules about trees. Maybe I shouldn't be done with them.....

    1. Thanks Coreopsis. The montage was made by the following process:

1)Go into to 'Design' on your blog and access a dynamic view (flipcard)..IMPORTANT DON'T APPLY THIS TO YOUR BLOG!!
2)Three screenshots were taken/saved of blocks of my work.Use any program to take the screen shots..I used the snipping tool on windows 7.
      3) Take the three or however many screenshots into photoshop or another photo editing program and stitch them together and tidy them up...merge together and save as a JPG image....Done!!! :)

BTW I'm no graphic designer expert...there's probably a lot better way..I just tend to find the things that work for me at the time and hope for the best!

  8. For a count they are a hundred, but beneath that are few hundreds more which for whatever reason are discarded by oneself... D mix of randomness and logic makes me keep coming to this blog. Congratulations! Hoping to see a lot more.

  9. The montage in and of itself is a fascinating piece to meander through... Could keep the viewer interested for hours as connections form (intended or not) between the pieces.
Did you know you liked red so much?

    Congrats!

    1. Thanks Richard..always good to have your opinion!
Red...became the signature for the dream background for Gerard...so there is quite a bit of it...I suppose I like it as well..but I like all colours and just black and white.

  10. The montage looks totally cool! I came in during the Gerard era, I think, so I think of you as the Gerard-guy, a bit, but you've done so many other things I missed! Plus, Gerard has been conspicuously absent of late, and who knows why, and this is all part of the mystery that is (dramatic music)...

    Hooray!
